Join the Writers' Union of Canada and the Writers' Guild of Alberta as we kick off Freedom to Read Week 2026 at the Kensington Legion on Monday, February 23rd. We'll be featuring a panel discussion with Uche Umezurike, Tracy Dawson and Rosemary Griebel, and then giving the audience a chance to read from banned books during the open mic portion of the evening.
